  • Ayurveda, the ancient system of Medicine has its roots in Veda and dates back to 5000 BC.
  • The word Ayurveda literally means the knowledge of life.
  • The practice of Ayurveda is basically the practice of art of living with nature and cure through nature.
  • It has incorporated in it the fundamental theories of PanchaMahabhuta i.e. Prithvi (Earth), Jala (Water), Vayu (Air), Teja (Fire), Akasha (Ether) and Tridosha i.e. Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
  • Ayurveda consider health as complete harmony of body, mind and soul.
  • Practices of healthy eating habit, sound mind and behaviour are important in maintaining this equilibrium.
  • In Ayurveda, before treatment, the body constitution and Dosha status of the patients are considered.
  • This entire practice is for maintaining optimum state of health, promotion of health and prevention and cure of the diseases.
  • To achieve these objectives Ayurveda System of Medicines has been divided into eight specialties, i.e. Ashtanga Ayurveda.
  • The college in reference is presently engaged in the propagation of these specialities through its programmes of Teaching, Treatment and Research in Ayurveda.
  • The college apart from serving as premier institute of training of Ayurveda undergraduates students is also engaged in promotion and propagation of Ayurveda system of Medicine.

Ananya College of Ayurved attached with Adarsha Ayurved Hospital has 5 floored building. It is having 60 beds capacity with Ayurved & modern facilities and infrastructure.

About College:

The college is recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine, a regulatory body of Ayurveda education for government of India. It is running the undergraduate course of BAMS with the permission of admitting 60 students per year. The college has an experienced and dedicated faculty who also work as consultants in the college attached hospital to provide high quality of patient care.

College has well established laboratories, library, and computer lab with internet facilities, Auditorium and museum along with seminar hall.

Hospital Services:

At ground floor we have Reception, Superintendent office; OPD blocks including Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, Kaumarbhritya, Stri Roga &Prasuti Tantra, Shalakya, Shalya, Swasthvritta department; Case window, Medicine dispensary, Minor OT, USG room, X-ray room, Pathology lab, ECG room, Emergency OPD, Waiting area and Patient Wash room.

At first floor we have Labour room, Neonatal care unit, Nursing station, Doctor duty room, Conference room; Panchakarma procedure rooms including Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Shirodhara, Nasya, Raktamokshana, Agnikarma, Snehana-Swedana; Panchakarma doctor room, Panchakarma Therapist room and Physiotherapy room.

At second floor we have IPD ward of various departments.

At third floor we have Yoga hall.
